Hi - just bought our first Bongo!! Basically clueless on what a lot of buttons, taps and sticky out bits do. Stupid question first: Which key opens the water tank under the passenger seat please? Looks like the ignition key but it isn't sliding in easily and I don't want to force it. Second: Once I get to the tank do I literally just pour water into it and that is it (am going to use elsil before we add water)? 3. What is the blue tap for on the passenger side of the van? I can see that the ones on the drivers side under the sink are for waste. 4. How do I turn the fridge on? Does it come on automatically once hooked up? I know I am going to get slated for this (believe me there are many more questions, I'll be back) but we bought this from a guy selling for a friend, so he had no idea about how it all worked (the friend was away). Not even sure the guy selling had used this since he bought it. There are so many buttons and some I just cannot see what they do. If anyone can help, we'd be so grateful. Thanks - Katie & David

Hi, Don't know which key as I haven't got your keys.
The water tan would be 30 litres and is for fresh water, I'd suggest filling up and draining out a couple of times using the blue tap on the passenger side to drain the tank fully out to clear it and then add your Elsil water purifier at the stated dose for the water you're going to use for drinking etc.
There should be a switch on the back cupboard to turn the fridge on and water pump.
kind regards Kev

Thanks Kev. Appreciate you don't have the keys but wondered if it was standard that it would be the ignition key that worked that one too, will investigate further. ;) So the blue tap is an out tap for the water tank? Ok, that's that answered. Finding the switch on the back cupboard is the tricky part. I have an aux switch, a pump switch and a lights switch as well as the one for the battery split.
We're finding our way around, but a little bit in the dark at the minute and appreciate your help.
